If your child was born between the dates listed below, you will need to apply for a school place for September 2024.
You will be able to apply for a place from Wednesday 6th September 2023.
Please note that there is no advantage in applying early - all applications received by the deadline will be considered equally in the allocation process. However, there would be a disadvantage in applying after the deadline as it is possible that some schools will already be full.
If your child was born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 you will need to apply for a school place for September 2024. The application window will be between 6 September 2023 and 15 January 2024.
If you are considering applying for a place at Bishop Cornish Primary School, visit sessions will be hosted by the Primary School in the Autumn Term (details to follow). An application for a place must be made through Cornwall Council. You should also complete the Bishop Cornish Supplementary Information Form and submit this to the school before the 15th January of the year of entry. The information on this form will be used to allocate places in the event of over-subscription. There is no automatic transfer from Bishop Cornish Preschool to Bishop Cornish Primary School.
